“Send me a picture of Mila” is the text I want to send to my girlfriends sister. Mila is my girlfriends niece. They spent the week visiting Ashley (my girlfriend) here in Wisconsin. They live in Florida.

I’m part of the family is what Ashley would say to me. And the crazy part about that is I feel it too. I want to be a part of this family. Forever. For all of my breaths.

I don’t fear commitment with Ashley. She is my whole world. And that’s wild. I love everything about this girl. The way she smiles. Her multitude of laughs. The way she bites her lower lip in the kitchen. How she dances, which is pretty often (at least to me, a non dancer). Her vocabulary. The raw emotions she shares with me. The way she shares all of her morning thoughts or brings me a cup of coffee in the morning. My god the list could go on forever.

I love you Ashley. And I can’t wait to marry you someday.
